Well Being at Neev

Well-being in early childhood years encompasses good physical health, feelings of happiness and satisfaction, effective social functioning and cognitive development. A strong sense of well-being instils confidence, resilience and optimism in children, maximizing their learning potential.

At Neev, wellbeing of children is deeply embedded in our educational philosophy and practices. We prioritize physical and social, emotional wellbeing of children as we believe that children learn best when they are healthy and happy.

Social and Emotional
Wellbeing

At Neev, we prioritize social and emotional well-being through practices that emphasize relationships, self-expression, and a sense of belonging.

Our educators model positive and welcoming behaviors, creating an environment where children feel valued, connected, and respected. We provide opportunities for peer interaction in both small and large groups, fostering cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution. By collaborating closely with families, we integrate them as essential members of our learning community.

We celebrate each child's unique identity by tailoring our environments to their interests and preferences, empowering them to make choices about their learning journey. This approach fosters a sense of agency, ownership, and belonging, contributing to their overall well-being.

Physical Wellbeing
at Neev

At Neev, we prioritize physical well-being by creating an environment that encourages independence, active play, and healthy habits. We empower learners to take responsibility for their health, hygiene, and personal care. Our routines and protocols ensure safety, while daily schedules promote physical activity and motor skill development through engaging experiences.

Safety and security

Neev is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the children at all times. The campus is monitored by CCTV, and entry is restricted to the front door, manned by security. Visitors must sign in, wear a badge, and be accompanied by staff. Drop-offs and pick-ups are closely supervised, ensuring that only authorized individuals—parents or those carrying an ID card issued by the school—are allowed to pick up the children.

First aid

At Neev, all educators are trained in first aid, with advanced training for some. First aid and biohazard kits are available on each floor and taken on off-site visits. After administering first aid to a child, he / she is carefully monitored. Injuries are promptly reported to parents, and severe cases require immediate collection by the parent for medical attention. All accidents are documented and communicated to parents.

Food and nutrition

Our cafeteria, operated by Sodexo, serves healthy and nutritious snacks to all students. The menu is carefully designed by a food committee consisting of parent representatives, teaching staff, administration, and a head chef from Sodexo. If your child has specific allergies, food intolerances, or dietary needs for religious reasons, we are happy to meet with you to discuss and accommodate these requirements.
