Clubs at Neev

Senior school students take the lead in running various clubs with the support of teachers and subject matter experts. These clubs meet twice a week, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and provide platforms for collaboration, peer learning, and exploring common interests together.

  • Music (Gr 6–12)
    A space to learn, perform, and collaborate through ensemble performances, jam sessions, songwriting, and musical exploration across genres — members develop creativity, confidence, and performance skills while building a lifelong love for music.

  • Visual Arts (Gr 6–12)
    Explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture through guided workshops and independent projects that build creativity and technical skill.The club fosters imagination, self-expression, observation, and creative confidence, that encourages students to take creative risks, appreciate diverse perspectives, and contribute to a vibrant culture of creativity within the school.

  • Baking (Gr 6–10)
    A hands-on space to build kitchen confidence, starting with simple recipes students progress to more advanced recipes and methods, broadening their culinary knowledge and exploring a variety of baking styles and flavours.

  • Book Club (Gr 6–12)
    Celebrate the joy of reading through discussions, recommendations, and shared reading sessions that build critical thinking, empathy, and a love for stories.     Whether students are lifelong readers or just beginning their reading journey, the Book Club provides a welcoming, student-led space where curiosity is nurtured, perspectives are broadened, and reading is both meaningful and enjoyable.

  • Writing Junior (Gr 6–8)
    Through engaging texts, discussions, creative responses, and reflective writing, students use reading and writing as tools for thinking and self-expression — developing close reading, critical thinking, and effective communication skills while writing for authentic purposes and experimenting with different forms of expression, all building strong foundations for future academic writing.

  • Writing Senior (Gr 9–12)
    A space meant for curious thinkers and aspiring writers to explore the power of words in both academic and creative contexts. Students develop an authentic voice through analytical and creative writing, with preparation for national and international competitions.

  • Chess (Gr 6–10)
    Build strategic thinking and problem-solving through a structured curriculum with leveled instruction tailored to individual strengths and areas for growth, alongside collective sessions that introduce shared theoretical concepts and strategic ideas. Students reinforce their learning through practice games, puzzle-solving, and analysis of classic games, with friendly tournaments that promote healthy competition and sportsmanship — along with pathways to competitive play.

 

  • Debate (Gr 6–12)
    Develop critical inquiry, ethical speech, and confident public speaking while engaging with real-world issues — learning to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, articulate diverse perspectives with empathy, and engage in respectful disagreement, while building the ability to communicate with clarity, integrity, and intellectual rigour.

  • MUN (Gr 6–12)
    Through research, debate, negotiation, and policy writing, students build a strong foundation in international relations, diplomacy, and legal reasoning — going beyond conference preparation to cultivate intellectual curiosity, resilience, and confidence in public discourse.   • Ecobiz (Gr 6–12)
    A platform to explore finance, economics, and business through the lens of sustainability and innovation — building practical skills and critical thinking through discussions, projects, and hands-on activities, with opportunities to compete in events like the Wharton Investment Competition and the World Economics Cup    .

  • Engineering (Gr 6–10)
    A hands-on STEM club that nurtures curiosity, experimentation, and the mindset to “think like an engineer.”     The club provides a platform for students to explore, question, and experiment. It focuses on the development of critical and creative thinking skills, encouraging them to approach problems from multiple perspectives.

  • Crochet (Gr 6–8)
    A space that builds patience, fine motor skills, and resilience through the creative, mindful craft of crochet.     Crocheting strengthens hand-eye coordination and improves dexterity through the precise, repetitive movements involved in creating patterns and designs.

  • Dance – Kathak (Gr 8–12)
    Learn this classical Indian storytelling dance form, sharpening focus, expression, and connection with the audience. Derived from the dance drama of ancient India, Kathak can be associated with a lot of emotions and facial expressions which makes it even more passionate. The precise movements of the foot and upper body make it a special dance form and create a nexus between the dancer and the audience.

  • Robotics (Gr 4–7)
    Explore coding, LEGO robotics, and AI through structured, hands-on sessions where students design functional models, dive into AI-driven robotics, and prepare for competitive events — nurturing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking while aligning with global STEAM standards.     (Paid club; fee details shared separately.)
