Our Philosophy

Being Local before Global

In today's world, traditional distinctions between "local," "national," and "global" are increasingly blurred. Students need to develop the agility and imagination needed to live productively in this complex world. That's why we prioritize helping students understand their own local context before expanding their perspective to the global level.

Multiculturalism versus Multilingualism

Intercultural understanding involves more than just learning multiple languages. It requires recognizing one's own identity and perspective, as well as those of others. We strive to help students evaluate critically the beliefs, values, experiences, and ways of knowing of different cultures, in order to develop a deep understanding of the world's rich cultural heritage.

Understand the working of Today’s World

Students need to understand how the world functions today, and the changes happening around the world that will shape the future. This includes understanding the science, technology, humanities, arts, and math that underlie the world around us.

Balanced Development

Success and happiness come from many sources, including academic excellence, critical thinking skills, and personal social and emotional development. We work to balance these different facets of learning in order to foster well-rounded development in our students.

Individualized Development

No two children are the same, and each student has their own unique strengths and areas for growth. We recognize this diversity and tailor our approach to each student's individual needs and interests in order to support their development.

Our Journey

Neev was founded in June 2005 with the goal of filling a gap in high-quality early childhood education in India. Our approach to early years development blends rigor with creativity and emphasizes the development of multiple intelligences and signature strengths. At Neev Academy, our focus on grade school education is preparing students to be leaders and thinkers in a rapidly globalizing world. We recognize that creativity and discipline are both essential for success, and strive to provide a strong foundation for our students to become successful global citizens.
