Community & Service

Service learning is deeply integrated into our curriculum and school culture including our learning journey's where students engage in transformative experiences such as working with Druk Padma Karpo School in Ladakh, collaborating with rural communities in Maharashtra supported by DBMGF, and visiting institutions like the Barefoot College and Hunarshala in Bhuj. These encounters with traditional artisans across India prompt students to reflect on their own identities and values.

The programmes at Neev Academy uniquely nurture socio-emotional development:

PYP: Action
MYP: Service as Action (SAA)
DP: Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS)
ICSE: SUPW

The service journey at Neev Academy unfolds in stages:

Exposure: PYP and Grade 6 students engage in service through the curriculum and initial learning journeys.

Experience: Grades 7 and 8 explore various service organizations, shaping their personal ethos.

Engagement: Grades 9 and 10 undertake perseverance projects in small groups, addressing challenges through proactive action.

Endeavour: Grades 11 and 12 embark on independent journeys fostering deep self-reflection and personal growth.
