At Neev Academy, we believe that Learning Journeys are an essential part of a well-rounded education. These educational travel programs offer our students the opportunity to broaden their horizons, immerse themselves in new cultures, and gain first-hand experience of the rich history and heritage of the places they visit.

However, Learning Journeys at Neev Academy are about more than just travel. They are a profound journey of self-discovery, helping our students develop personal and social skills, form lasting relationships, and understand their role as members of the "Successor Generation." Through these experiences, students apply their knowledge in real-life contexts, enhancing their critical thinking skills and deepening their understanding of the world around them.

Sports at Neev

Sports at Neev Academy serve as a cornerstone for nurturing our ethos, which emphasizes human relationships, perseverance, academic excellence, inquiry, responsibility, and leadership.

We offer a variety of team and individual sports across both Primary and Senior School levels. Sports activities are scheduled daily for Grades 1, 2 & 3, ensuring comprehensive development of sporting skills and participation in leagues and tournaments. Our teams compete in football, basketball, tennis, athletics, and swimming, supported by qualified coaches and top-notch infrastructure.

Through teaching Personal, Social, and Physical Education (PSPE) skills and attitudes in sports, we provide children with opportunities to understand social and personal issues while promoting health and well-being. Sports foster resilience and address moral issues, instilling positive values such as appreciation, tolerance, respect, and empathy.

At Neev, our House system facilitates communication among students, teachers, and the school community. It aims to develop leadership skills by entrusting responsibilities to guide students in embodying the school's values and ethos. Inter-house competitions are held, culminating in our Annual Sports Day, "Sarvajeet Diwas," where each house competes to earn the highest number of points and the coveted House Point Award.

At Neev Academy, we believe in capturing the essence of a child's development through the arts. Our robust arts program spans Performing Arts and Visual Arts, encompassing Theatre, Music, Orchestra, and Visual Arts. We take pride in offering a rich and diverse Arts Curriculum that encourages students to explore their passions across different disciplines. Artistic creations adorn our campus, complemented by vibrant co-curricular activities like theatre productions, choir performances, orchestra concerts, and art exhibitions.

Reading Culture at Neev Academy

Learn to read, so you can read to learn" is the guiding ethos at Neev Academy. We believe effective early reading instruction empowers students to become fluent readers who comprehend and apply their knowledge in diverse contexts, fostering a strong motivation to explore more.

At Neev, we cultivate a joy for reading by emphasizing both how and what children read. This approach nurtures knowledgeable and avid readers, whether reading for purpose or pleasure. We encourage exploration of various genres to broaden perspectives and aim to instill a culture of well-read individuals who engage with timeless classics relevant to their world and future.

Reading is learned through practice. To develop lifelong reading habits, learners require ample time to engage with a wide range of quality fiction and non-fiction texts for enjoyment and learning. As students immerse themselves in captivating texts aligned with their developmental stages, they acquire essential skills, strategies, and conceptual understanding to become confident, independent readers.

Guided reading sessions at Neev Academy provide targeted support in small groups of up to five students, allowing teachers to tailor instruction based on individual needs and abilities.

Our novel study program introduces students to esteemed authors and diverse literature from around the globe and India. Through guided discussions and text-based exploration, students deepen their analysis and appreciation of various literary elements such as genre, voice, characters, plot, and themes over time.

At Neev, our library serves as a dynamic learning hub rather than a traditional quiet space. It encourages collaboration among students, teachers, and our library team, offering a wealth of digital and non-digital resources. Our evolving library curriculum aims to nurture effective researchers, responsible information consumers, and adventurous readers. The library team designs activities that enhance linguistic confidence, foster healthy interactions, and develop essential literacy skills to empower lifelong learners within our community.
