Admissions Overview   

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision.

We are a full continuum IB School, offering the PYP (Primary Years programme – Grades 1 to 5), MYP (Middle Years programme – Grades 6 to 10), and the Diploma Programme (G11 and 12). In the Middle school (G6 to G10) we also offer ICSE curriculum as an option.

We encourage prospective families to watch our informative videos and then arrange a visit to experience our vibrant campus firsthand.

Programmes we offer

IB PYP

The IB PYP lays a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and comprehension. At Neev, we go beyond academics, nurturing confident and well-rounded children by addressing their intellectual, emotional, and social development.

IB MYP

Building on the PYP, the IB MYP curriculum encourages students to make real-world connections with their studies. We foster dynamic learning, empowering students to engage meaningfully with the world around them.

IB DP

Neev’s two-year IB DP curriculum, renowned globally, culminates in Grade 12 examinations. We nurture holistic education for academic excellence and responsible global citizenship.

ICSE

Renowned for academic rigor, Neev’s ICSE curriculum creates a rich foundation for higher education worldwide. Our holistic approach, rooted in Indian context and modern pedagogy, fosters self-awareness, sensitivity, and initiative among our diverse student body.

Understanding the Enrolment Criteria

We welcome students from diverse communities and cultures in our school.

1. Criteria for processing the Applications for Admission:

Availability of seats for the programme in the given period during the academic year.
Order in which forms are received by the admissions office.
The age equivalence criteria being fulfilled as per details in the application
Submission of a completed application form with all required documents.
Validity of the documents submitted meeting the requirements listed in the application form.

2. Criteria for Granting of Admission

Admission process is initiated only if the application is complete and can be processed as per the criteria shared above.
The applicant appears in person for a written assessment (English and Math) as applicable for the grade level applied for admission.
The applicants seeking admission in senior school appear in person for interview or group discussion as may be required and meet the criteria of preparedness.
The admissions team assesses the readiness of the student reviewing the application set, previous academic reports and evaluation done at Neev.
Meeting with parents and the Head of School /Programme is completed and enrolment is approved.

The child needs to be in the age criteria as listed below on August 31st of the academic year in which they are seeking admission. You may reach out to the admissions team if you have any specific query regarding the same.

Admission Process

Admissions at Neev is a 6-Step process. It takes about 10 to 12 working days, from the submission of the application till the final offer (except in case of peak admission season).

STEP 1

Register

Initiate your child's educational journey by completing our online inquiry form, providing us with basic information about your family.

STEP 2

Visit us

Explore our school firsthand during our structured campus tours. Delve into our educational philosophy, high-quality learning standards, teaching methodologies, core curriculum, and enriching co-curricular activities. Engage directly with academic leaders to learn about our nurturing environment and student progress monitoring.

This is your chance to engage directly with our academic experts, watch the live classrooms, and gain a profound understanding of what sets our school apart.

Tours are available every Thursday. Please book at least two working days in advance:

PYP Program (Grades 1-5): 8:30 am – 10:00 am
& 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

ICSE Program (Grades 6-10): 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

MYP Program (Grades 6-10): 10:00 am – 11:30 am

IB DP Program (Grades 11 & 12): 10:00 am – 11:00 am

All visitors must present a personal ID at the security gate for campus entry.

VIRTUAL CAMPUS TOUR

Experience a virtual tour showcasing our campus, highlighting key facilities for learning, sports, and extracurricular activities. Gain insights into our safety protocols and campus ambience from the comfort of your home (applicable only to non Bangalore based students).

STEP 3

Apply

Formally apply by submitting the comprehensive application form, allowing us to understand your child's unique strengths and aspirations.  Application fee of INR One Thousand (Rs. 1000/-) is to be paid while completing the application.

STEP 4

Interaction and Assessment

On receipt of the completed application form, the admission team reviews it and gets in touch with the parent to schedule a written assessment for English and Math on a mutually convenient date and time.

We encourage to do this on the same day of campus tour.

STEP 5

Review and Admission meeting

Our Academic Leadership team will conduct a holistic review to ensure Neev is the right fit for your child. We carefully consider their academic performance, interests, and potential for growth, aiming to create a nurturing environment that aligns with your child's unique needs and aspirations.

The parents are kept informed of the final admission meeting with the Head of the Programme if we are able to consider the student for admission.

STEP 6

Decision

The admission committee will review the application and make the final decision on acceptance. The Enrolment contract is mailed to the parent as an offer of admission on clearance from the Admissions team and Head of the programme.

Acceptance and Confirmation

The parent is required to complete the next steps outlined in the contract to confirm admission and notify the school accordingly. Upon receiving the signed contract and payment of fees as specified, the student's enrollment is confirmed.

Subsequently, parents are included in the school mailing list for all important updates and communications.

Flexible Admissions

While it is desirable that most students join the school at the beginning of every academic year, we understand that some may not be able to do so. We consider admitting students throughout the year based on the availability of seats. At Neev we work towards being an inclusive school providing admission to students if it is believed that the school can provide an educational programme which would meet their specific needs.

Scholarships at Neev section

IB Diploma Programme Scholarship (Grades 11 & 12)

The Neev DP Scholarship Programme is a merit-based scholarship designed to support outstanding students through the full two-year duration of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12). The scholarship offers partial tuition waivers of up to 50% and is open to both current Neev students and new applicants seeking admission to Grade 11.

DB Gupta Science Scholarship

Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta, founding Chairman of Lupin Ltd., with a few other leaders of his generation, are good ancestors; in a world skeptical of India’s technological prowess, his choices made India the pharmacy for the world. His vision brought Lupin Pharmaceuticals to solve medical problems in India with speedy execution, responsible technology and low costs. Drawing inspiration from the life of Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta, Neev Academy introduces The DB Gupta Science Scholarship, to encourage young minds with a passion for science, to pursue their journey in IB, irrespective of their background. This is a merit-based, 4 year high-school scholarship that ranges from partial to full tuition and initiates in Grade 9.
